Furniture making is a manufacturing process that has inherent potential to impact and create a number of environmental issues, and as such we are committed to reducing waste material and the content that goes into landfill.

KD Furniture sources its timber within Australia primarily from producers using FSC certified plantations which support the sustainable management of plantation pine as well as recyclable waste facilities that allow a substantial percentage of recycled waste to be used in the production of raw board.

KD Furniture’s commitment to the environment starts and ends with its employees who are trained and dedicated to responsible environmental management. Our policy includes programmes revolving around energy reduction and material recycling.
